The charms themselves are hand stamped (letter by letter, hammered in), and then the edges can be left smooth or hammered. The lettering can be left bare or filled in black. Chain length can be chosen. These are made of aluminum and surgical steel and are completely hypoallergenic.
Disclaimer: Metal stamping is different from engraving. There are no machines used and each letter is hammered one by one, so there may be some slight imperfections. The black enamel may wear out over time.
