The silver bar is aluminum. It is extremely lightweight, and will not tarnish when exposed to the elements. This one has a stainless steel silver chain. The chain may tarnish over time.

The gold bar is brass. This one is a bit heavier but still lightweight. The brass will darken over time when exposed to the elements, so I recommend keeping it dry. The chain on this one is a gold plated stainless steel.

The copper bar is solid copper. This one is also a bit heavier but still lightweight. It will darken over time as well.

Disclaimer: Metal stamping is different from engraving. Each letter or symbol is hammered in individually, therefore letters may not always be exactly in line, it's a part of the charm! I make them as close as I can, but it is impossible to completely center it and make each letter perfectly even as opposed to an engraving machine which can do just that. After everything is stamped, I add a black stamping enamel. This may wear off over time, but the impression underneath will legibly stay there forever.
